If you're looking for supreme suction from your Cupping set...look no further!
Made from the highest quality, medical-grade and platinum cured silicone compounds, the Base Cupping Set is one of the most versatile on the market and perfect for professional cupping therapists.
Some people call these mushroom cups, accordian cups, pancake cups...we call them the Base Cups as they are the most widely used silicone cupping sets and will form the base of every one of your treatments.
These cups are a harder silicone compound making them the preferred set for professional cuppers to use in a clinical setting. The 65 hardness set creates a deeper level of suction compared to our 60 degree hardness set, so they are ideal for static/stationary techniques and treatments where you need stronger suction.
The Base Cupping Set in the 65 degree hardness level can also be used for dynamic gliding/sliding techniques, however it is important to note that due to hardness level of the silicone the suction will be much stronger than with our other sets. We do not recommend this set for DIY cupping at home unless you have extensive experience using silicone cupping sets.
- Easier to apply than most of the cups on the market so they are easier on your hands.
- Easier to adjust the amount of suction.
- Easier to control the cups and use them for static/stationary applications or blanket cupping.
There are 4 cups in the set - 1 Large Cup (3.5" x 4.5"), 1 Medium Cup (2" x 3.25"), 1 Small Cup (1.75" x 2.5") and 1 Extra-Small Cup (1.25" x 4.5")
- The Large sized cup works great on the back, hips, thighs and hamstrings.
- The Medium sized cup works great on the calves and shoulders.
- The Small sized cup works great on the arms and lower neck.
- The Extra Small sized cup works great on small areas like the hands and feet.
Base Cupping Set - 65 Hardness
The Base Cupping Set - 65 degree hardness works especially well for stationary/static techniques while also applicable for gliding/sliding techniques for more advanced or experienced cuppers. These cups also work great for the Blanket Cupping technique.
To use, place the cup on the skin by squeezing or pressing on the cup to create the negative pressure required to create the seal - using a massage lotion or oil will assist in creating a proper seal.
Once the cup is sealed to the skin, you can leave it in place for several minutes to provide deep stimulation to the underlying tissue (stationary/static technique).
Due to the hardness level of this set of cups, it may be more difficult to slide it back and forth in a gliding/sliding manner and should only be attempted by more advanced or experienced professional cuppers.
