Made from the highest quality, medical-grade and platinum cured silicone compounds, the Base Cupping Set is one of the most versatile on the market and perfect for anyone starting out using Cupping Therapy or who likes to utilize movement based techniques!
Some people call these mushroom cups, accordian cups, pancake cups...we call them the Base Cups as they are the most widely used silicone cupping sets by the professionals and will form the base of every one of your treatments.
These cups are a softer custom silicone blended specifically for Global Cupping. The softer Base Cupping Set is perfect for DIY cupping at home as well as for professionals to use in a clinical setting. The 55 hardness level allows for a lower level of suction compared to our other Base Cupping Sets, making them super easy for dynamic cupping treatments using a gliding/sliding technique for all areas of the body.
The Base Cupping Set can also be used for static/stationary techniques with a lower level of suction, making them incredibly versatile for all cupping techniques whether in your clinical setting or performing cupping therapy at home in between your manual therapy treatments.
- Easier to apply than most of the cups on the market so they are easier on your hands.
- Easier to adjust the amount of suction.
- Easier to control the cups and use them for sliding/gliding dynamically.

Base Cupping Set - 55 Hardness
The Base Cupping Set - 55 degree hardness works especially well for gliding/sliding techniques and is a great set for beginners learning how to use stationary/static techniques. These cups also work great for the Flash Cupping and Blanket Cupping techniques.
To use, place the cup on the skin by squeezing or pressing on the cup to create the negative pressure required to create the seal - using a massage lotion or oil will assist in creating a proper seal.
Once the cup is sealed to the skin, you can slide it back and forth (gliding/sliding technique) or leave it in place for several minutes to provide deep stimulation to the underlying tissue (stationary/static technique).
