Cupping Safety

 

In general, Cupping is NOT to be performed directly on veins, arteries, nerves, skin inflammation, any skin lesion, body orifices, eyes, lymph nodes, or over varicose veins.

Cupping Safety - Do not perform Cupping if you have any of these medical conditions.

If you have any of the following conditions, please Do NOT perform Cupping and discuss with your medical professional first:

  • If you have Cancer or are in current treatment for Cancer

  • If you have organ failure – heart, renal or hepatic

  • If you are using a pacemaker

  • If you have a bleeding disorder like Hemophilia

  • If you have active any kind of skin infection or abscess 

  • If you have an undiagnosed or suspicious lump

  • Thrombophlebitis (blood clots)

  • If you have deep vein thrombosis

  • If you have had a stroke - unstable or evolving
